Great Work.

I hope you don't mind- I have some feedback.
Not sure if it is relevant but I am running GP4 on a 1680 x 1050 resolution.

1. Both Rev Counters not aligned to each other
For some rev values the purple rev counter is bigger than the blue counter.
See screenshots
In the screenshots I also have a panel showing the rev count
Example: 6831

2. X not appearing for first lap for cars without cars.
For cars without KERS the X is not displaying for the first lap.
This is really only an issue in non race sessions.
In a race the X appears as soon as the car crosses the line

This can be solved by setting both control images with the kers_off.tga.
Example:
[LapTime10ControlImage0]
Path=kers_off.tga
X=222
Y=405
Width=128
Height=32
SrcWidth=128
SrcHeight=32
ShowForCar=3
ShowForTeam=2
[LapTime10ControlImage1]
Path=kers_off.tga
X=222
Y=405
Width=128
Height=32
SrcWidth=128
SrcHeight=32
ShowForCar=3
ShowForTeam=2

3.Gap between Throttle Panel and Rev Panel
There is a slight gap between the Throttle Section and the circular rev counter.
See screenshot
There shouldn't be a gap - It is all one section

4. Top of battery should be slightly filled
The top of the battery (+) should be slightly filled.
See screenshot

5. Batteries on top of empty battery not properly alligned
When a battery image appears over the empty battery you can still see the end of the Empty battery under it
See screenshots

Hope you found that useful.

Nice report my friend =)

1) I know but it was not easy work on alpha chanel to recreate them... By the way we have to hope that in future a new gpxpatch will provifde an arc comando for images, so hud 2009 will became very smooth and perfect!

2) If your solution work and will not give problem with normal editing of car which use kers and other which not i can improve in next version of hud ;)

3) I left this gap because in original melbourne one i saw it

But if i am wrong i can fix it ;)

4) never saw the empy battery, so if your solution is right i will fix it ;)

5) i'm using 1280*768 and you can see in my screenshot that i don't have this problem :| Maybe is your resolution? Other people has the problem?

Thanks for report my friend ;)

No Problem.
Hopefully we'll see the HUD on tv again this weekend and we can see how it works.

They keep changing it :P
=) yep!

Unfortunately the HUD was only displayed on the side t-cam view.
Difficult to identify the hud background against a dark background

Also difficult to see the top of the battery - I could have it wrong on point 4
mmm for battery i think that you are right ;)

Is it possible for us to edit when the kers are activated? So that I'm not using kers in a corner :p therefore, we can fine tune for circuits?

Cheers :)
of course you can edit the time of the lap when use kers...
Just edit in gpxpatch. To set the kers use in a precisios sector of track you have to use the solution used by the french guys on theyr hud, but it use 6/7 gpxpatch slot

What is the solution used by the french guys? To edit where the kers is activated, it is in the kers.ini but what in the .ini triggers this?

Sorry, I'm new to this :p
They active kers's tgas in a defined part of track.
For example

1) Track lap = 0% show kers full
2) Track lap = 30% show active full kers image
3) Track lap = 32% show active 70% kers image
4) Track lap = 34% show active 50% kers image
5) Track lap = 36% show 50% kers image

But because of gpxpatch works you have to use 5 slot. And you have to change this slot inis for every different track

With my solution you use only 1 slot for kers. But it work different

Example
1) Time lap = 0 secs show kers full
2) Time lap = 20 secs show active full kers image
3) Time lap = 21.5 secs active 70% kers image
4) Time lap = 23 secs show active 50% kers image
5) Time lap = 24.5 secs show 50% kers image

Ah, I understand.

So, where in gpxpatch can I edit these values?

edit te time of all kers object :P (15000 = 15 secs so the image of full kers used will appear from 15 to 16 sec of the lap)
