Cool Scenario for Ace Keyboard Racers

I have a really cool save game, if anyone's interested, here's the background story-

Austalian GP
Full 58 Lap Race
1 pit-stop strategy
You're on Lap 16
Running third in the McLaren behind Rubens and Michael
Ace skill level (Standard keyboard control)
Rubens is just ahead in a gaggle of 8 back markers headed by Montoya!

Now, it is possible to overtake all 8 back markers and Rubens b4 the end of the lap, but not easy (especially with my setup!). It's an absolutely superb moment and if anyone wants a copy of this save game, let me know at my usual trevor.witt@futurenet.co.uk address..

sounds cool, I think including something like this with the actual game would be good to provide a bit of variety. I remember an F1 game on the N64 a few years ago had some real life scenario's built into the game like when the williams were on drys at the start in the rain at Monaco in 97. you had to recover to the pits without losing many places. It was a great idea, shame the actual game was shite

I only use a basic installation of the game for all my replays, hotlaps etc...

Copies of the file to the people who've left their email will be sent out in a moment..

i guess i need to restore the backups CSC4 made then...

when i ran the replay, nothing happenend, you did catch up with the back markers but you never over took them :S or am i missing the point, you cought up with them fast, 1 lap there ages away, second lap ure up there arse :P

It's a save game 'scenario', not a replay, you're meant to try and overtake all nine cars b4 the end of lap 16.. I've done it loads of times, but it's a cool thing to do so that's why I shared the file..

Shane Warnes Cricket has these Scenarios and they are a great idea. Something like this would be fantastic for an F1 game, really highlighting some of the great moments in the sport.

Gives you a real sense of accomplishment too if implemented correctly.

i know one cool scenario. ur in jerez and u try and hit jv really hard on purpose without urself being knowcked out. even ms couldnt do it so when u do it u can say " ms pssssh id beat him at his game any day"
