so which is the best current 2002 carset?

my gp4 @#$%& up ( must've been OD'ing on the photoshop that did it)

and i had to reinstall it, so i decided to get a whole 2002 grid rather than my previous bastardised 2001/2002 hybrid.

only problem is that most of the season 2002 updates inc shitty steering wheel & crap tyre textures.

all i require is the car textures

Then maybe the wisest thing for you will be to replace the wheel and tyres AFTER installing the 2002 carset. Just a 10 min. work.

where do you get the tyre & steering wheel from though? what dir?

Wheel: all *.tex (but stwheel.tex which is in the cars root dir) are in cars/cockpit.
For a really cool wheel I suggest AdHoc's. Far better than the original.
Tyres are in cars/tyres (where else lol?) but wheel_lowlod.tex which is in the cars root dir).

This is why it would be nice if Bruno included a section on his website that includes all the best downloads. I know he has written GREAT next to the good ones but this would make it soooo much simpler. Once again, we could vote on these just like with emacs site.
