could please someone be so kind to make three alphalayer in 1024x1024 for me? i need a light grey, middle grey and a dark grey one. Any help is much appreciated

Do you not have photoshop, its the simplest thing to do

So how do you use an alpha layer if you dont have photoshop, you can make alphas with paint shop pro also ?

i want to use the layers for some cars to test and i don't have a clue to make the alphalayers, sorry

Well you need some sort of painting program to insert them, an alpha can be a jpeg and just paste it into the actual layer, what program you using ?

Go to layers pallette and there should be a layer called alpha1, i usually copy and paste it into the main image, edit it from there then copy,paste it back.

how i can do chrome on textures?

Id go for a white alpha but get the paint on the car the correct colour, th best example of chrome ive seen iz kizz's mclaren in the gp2 world series mod.
