First, the wad is corrupted. Error loading mesh. When exactly does the exit occur? Also SP3 is known to cause problems.
Which CSM mod are you loading? Have you altered the wad in any way? If you have, there is the problem. The wad has not been altered correctly.
If you have not altered the wad. Download the mod again and re-test.

No, I do not use msn. Forum help only. That way everyone learns from it.
You did not answer these questions.

I am using a 2006 Mod, with a 2007 trackpack..

I tried to edit the mod myself, to update it to an 2008 mod, and I am now lifting it to a 2009 mod..

I added new pitcrews, the 2008 cars, gridcars, names, etc etc.. And it all worked perfect.

I had some problems with the wad, and by an mistake it was overwritten by a fresh one.
So I took an older one, andn ow it doesnt work anymore..

Can I also make a new wad by adding all the files in a new wad?

cc_mesh.cm needs fixing or is missing (maby from the Cars folder?)

and you might want to use the latest GPxPatch version (3.93)

Oke, I downloaded version 3.93

Ohh btw, when I open CSM it sais: No clean wad found.. What to do with that :P

If I run patchdownloader all the files are replaced right?

But if I do that, then I get all the old cars again right? Do i have to create a new cars.wad myself or something? Or update it?

And what about the cc_mesh.cm, when I opened my cars folder I saw it, but when I started csm and wanted to recover it, it was gone :S

CSM creates the wad every time it loads it from the original cars.wad. If there is a fault with your cars, that's why it crashes.
In CSM, you do not add the cars to the wad, you add them to the CSM folders.

Oke mate,

I have done the patchdownloader + clean cars.wad

If I start Gp4 now via Csm, everything works properly, but ingame I have the old cars..

Any idea if I can find what causes that?

Oke, I thought lets instal the 2006 mod, get the cars File, and copy it over my 2008 mod..

When I started then, I had al 2006 cars.. So manualy I added my old car folder 1 by 1, testing if I would get the old cars again..

Ive added all teams, but when I add Renault, Str or Toyota I get all the old cars again..

Got any idea why? Before the cars folder was working perfect.. Ive tried adding the cars manualy again, but it wont help, I keep getting the old cars if I add them..

You cant keep overwriting mod files. In a mod there are ini files that regulate the loading of the mod. Without rewriting the ini files to determine exactly which cars are loaded you will always fail. The ini files have naming conventions and dir number listings. If these do not match....FAIL.
As far as I know there is a 2006 CSM mod, maybe you could do a new post asking if anyone knows of it. Then you wont have to fiddle about with it. There is also a thread on a 2008 CSM mod release in the forum. Unless you really know what you are doing, have studied the FAQ, have experience compiling a cars.wad etc. I wouldn't recommend fiddling about with a mod. Even I have shot a mod to smithereens by mucking about with it, and I've had GP4 since it was released.

And howcome I cant add renault, toyota and Str anymore? :P

How come you can't add them? You can't add them because you're not doing it right. That's gotta be blindingly obvious. :-)
If you did it right, they would load up and appear in game.
So it's fair to say that you have missed something. Maybe the textures are a different size to the ones you want to replace. lod names could be different, could be any number of things.
Compare the new textures to the ones you wish to replace. What exactly is different about them etc. Like I said, could be a lot of things.

I already said, mucking about with CSM mods is tricky. It's not as simple as adding files as long as they have the right name.

There's a thread available on updating to 09. A lot of info in the GP4FAQ on wad updating, but that's not what is happening here anyway.

I cannot see the sense in you having a 2008 mod, then overwriting it with a 2006 mod, that seems to me how you have explained it. Then you say you had 2006 cars, well yes, if you copied them in over the 08 mod you would then have 06 cars.
Then you say you copied your old cars......as in what? Original? Is that what you mean by old?
So have I got it right? Started with an 08 mod, copied over it with 06 mod, then copied over with 'old cars' whatever they are?
You say when you add Renault, STR and Toyota, you get 'all' old cars, you have to explain what you mean by 'all' old cars. Do you mean original, or do you mean the 06 copies, or is it the 08 cars that you started with?
I make the assumption that you are adding Renault, STR & Toyo 09 cars as you haven't explained that either.

No, I have had the 2008 mod, but I dont like that one..

So I deleted the 2008 mod, And downloaded the 2006 mod, with 2007 trackpack

Then I started editing it to my own 2008 mod:

- Downloaded and added all the tracks that are on the 2009 calendar. Some circuits are from the 2006 pack, some 2007, some are 2008 tracks, and like abu dhabi is a 2009 track.. So I turned my TSM Trackpack to a 2009 trackpack right?

- I downloaded all the 2009 gridcars and added then via GpI browser, Same as the other 2009 Teamart.. Works perfectly

- I Added files, so CSM Shows correct team names, driver names and circuits + flags etc

- I Edited the 2008 Loading screens from the 2008 mod to 2009 loading screens and added them.

- I downloaded all 2008 cars manualy and added them, now slowly adding the 2009 cars

- Ive added pitprops/pitcrews from 2008..

- I have edited files and changed ingame team names/ drivers as the line up is in 2009..

SO, i am probable beng weird, and noobisch.. But it does kinda work for me..

But there are some things that I didnt manage to do:

- Adding the 2009 tyres.. My tyres are getting crappy if I add them, and in stead of a green line I get a fat red line :P

- Changing helmets, and putting new ones ingame

- Changing steering wheel positions

So, now laugh at me first :P and then help me please ;)

Well, I probably couldn't help you anyway. I've downloaded an 08 mod and added Toyo, STR and Ferrari because they weren't in the release. As for tyres, not a clue, the textures are faulty if the line is red. (there's a new topic). Changing helmets is the same as changing cars. Steering wheel positions, no idea, I think you use GP4Tweaker for that. Do a forum search on that one.
I'm changing the topic header now to show (Fixed). It's not a gpx problem really. Now it's more like 'how do I build a csm 2009 mod?' lol. Good luck with it. :-)
