I think that parts of the car got wrong names. It comes from the car which is replaced by the Jaguar original place. Look into team editor to see which one. If he plays with a 2008 carswad, it may be the Toro Rosso... Well, Team Editor is usefulk to know which one.

So, it concernes the car1 : car_carname_car1_lod_0.gp4 and car_carname_car1_lod_4.gp4

With GP4Builder, he has to rename right_mirror and left_mirror into z_cockpit_right_mirror and z_cockpit_left_mirror for the lod0, then click on "Action" , "sort car objects" and save the file.

For the lod4 of the car: If there is only one object named "cockpit_low" ..That's ok, he has nothing to change.

But, if there is 24 parts, check if the parts of the car are correctly named.

If there is 28 parts for the lod4 : same thing that the lod0, rename right-mirror and left_mirror correctly ,"action", "sort car objects", save.

It should be ok!

Well, the gpxlog shows that the problem come from the "Jaguar" car (or the one who is replaced by the original one). Extract it and look at the parts names... I had the same problem recently...

Don't know why it works with you and not with your friend but it may be the first thing to check, just to be sure... ;o)

The problem to me is the ATI Radeon 9800 vga card from your friend.
Its a old video card and was very unstable with gp4, the same with
the 9500, 9550, 9600 models.

Isn't it the car_collision_mesh.ct file from the GP4/Cars/ Folder??? Could explain why it chrashes in his game and not your and maby he needs GPxPatch version 3.93? ;)

I see a 'track file not found' reference, that could explain why it crashes on one system and not on another.

I have the same cars with the same problem, only 1 track seems to load, the rest just ctd everytime yet the tracks are fine with every other mod i have installed. And yes theres only 1 car wad and track specific tracks are disabled. I did notice some car parts needed re ordering but still ctd's.

I've tried his carswad. It works fine with me. After, I've checked the car parts and parts names and yes, I have reordered the car parts (for Benetton and Bar cars essentially) but don't know if it will change something because it worked before. I've also deleted 2 Benetton lods I've found (car_Benetton_car1_lod_035.gp4 ...or something like this. There were 12 lods for this car).
Parts names of the cars are ok... So, I'm don't know if the minor things I've corrected will change something but my first thought was false. So, maybe you guys got right with track issue...
