Trev, has that silverstone laptime been donE with the default setup? or is it one of your custom ones?

Also did you use a wheel? coz its easier to get a better lap using the keys, where as a wheel requires more finesse ;-)

i find that using the wheel to turn is easier (smoother) but braking with the keys feels better (like the tyres have glue on them :P), with the keys i can brake about 50m less

Anyway, I don't reckon anyone can beat my Silverstone time of 1:21.014 though

Hard luck Trev, ive done a 1:20.8 there on default setup :)

I dont have the hotlap though :(

If you dont believe me, dont, but I did do that lap time. It was touch and go though as round most of the corners I was just on the track.

LS that has to a joke? I used a wheel recently and my lap tiems dropped by over 1 sec. A wheel makes the game miles easier!

FYI, it was done using a custom setup (the default ones don't suit me) and the keyboard, both the hotlap replay and the car setup are on the PCF disc, but that's not meant as a plug for the mag! If ne1 wants a copy of the file that's going out on the September issue then choose someone for me to send it to and they can distribute it around the rest , I don't expect you to purchase a 5-6 quid mag for a 700k replay/setup file if you don't normally buy it. However, it would be nice if you did buy PCF for all the other great stuff we've put on there! ;)

BTW, if someone beats my time with my car set then they're in for a good kicking! ;)

Cya l8r guys, enjoy the race this afternoon..

Trev.

What, apart from myself?! ;)

I reckon Montoya is probably the fastest driver over a single lap at the moment, I like his 'take no prisoners' style overtaking manouveres too, plus he doesn't seem to have a big ego. Would like to see a decent head to head between him and that German next season (equal cars etc)..

Out of the Brits I rate Jenson, mainly for his very smooth driving style, plus I reckon he has the biggest potential/chance of winning the title. Raikkonen has alot of potential too..

Are you talking about me, Trev, my jolly ol' chum? Well, if you can turn my Ford Escort into a Willimas F1, I wouldn't mind´to be that German ...
