ok, I want to know what is the BEST of everything. I mean track updates, car updates, helmets, steering wheels, car livers etc. It's a bitch toi install oine and find out it sucks and have to start from zero again.

What I would like is for everyone to tell me which updates they are running and if they are happy with them. This way we can kinda get a tally and find out which ones are the best.

Well I might as well mention the fact that I have absolutely no graphical updates to Gp4 because at the present moment I don't see any reason to do so. The original game is such good quality. Only until a really good carset editor is available (*hint*Steven Young*hint*) will I update to a 2002 carset - and then only if there is a carshape editor available. I don't see how you guys can run a 2002 carset - I mean, how stupid does the Jordan look? IMO Gp4 is best left alone ATM.

i agree with alex in some respects, i am running vipers 2001 tobbaco update, so the cars are more or less the same but with a few different stickers.

i ran the 2002 update and did'nt like them, i'm sure ralphs will be different though when they come out

I'm running tracks, cars, pit crew and tyres from the 2002 big-pack, and helmets by someone I can't remember and ca't be arsed to check. The helmets are really good cos the faces in 'em are very realisti to their real life counterparts (urgh thats turned into a cliche now I swear).

I'm with LS on this one. I've left the game untouched apart from the 2001 tobacco set by Viper, and I think it's wonderful.

Ad hoc steering wheel (a must IMHO) and Viper 2001 tobacco.
That's it.

oh.. btw..
*my pitcrews are from Terence Yaw.. nice ones
* and i've remembered that i'm using also some new menu backgrounds from Florian Jesse, and the curious thing is that they are composed by packs that do a kind of slideshow... + - 10 pics for each menu...

this is really amazing and the moving names and gp4 logo are still there moving above the new backgrounds... it's excellent..

I didn't mean it like that Dumbass. I'm going to be hideously honest here: I haven't even tried your carset editor/creator yet! There you go. I had forgotten it existed. I meant to download it then I remember thinking "what's the point, until a decent carset and carshape editor is out". So please don't take offence! I'm just a little lazy like that. Plus the fact I like Gp4 just as it is.
