We (I speak on Paulo´s behalf also) can work with any track we want.

And we are going to do this for FUN, cause this is what GP4 is made for.

In fact we can stop any time we want, as we´ve began some years ago.

If you want new tracks, just do it.

I am trying the conversion from rfactor track (with permission) but its really a very difficult way.... didn't work on it since months... not enough time.
anyway, despite some graphical bugs, the first track (one of the short track) is already driveable... by me lol

great work!

yes, while not as good as scratch built tracks, conversions can be a very handy way to get more tracks into gp4. now, how about singapore from rfactor anyone? ;) ;)

Nice work!

We need a sticky thread on here with all the tracks that have been made i.e. as an example:

Interlagos - 1995, 96, 97, 98, 99, 00 (obviously only have those that are there) with link to the site/download.

Hi,

I don't want to get involved in this kind of discussion, everybody is free to do what he wants to do. But i would be thankfull for track updates, it keep this game alive. Otherwise i'm happy not a lot of new tracks are build for this game, most track which are released are high quality and much better than other games (see about gp4 conversions to other games). But this is my opinion....

The good news is this;

don't worry about Brands Hatch;

This is the '89 WSC version, there will be a short Indy version, a DTM version and a modern version (maybe '84 as well)

Great job MarioB and Tony with Brands Hatch. :)

..Personally i'm big F1 fan, i love to work with F1 tracks, also with older tracks but it's really hard to find enough good photos or videos from older F1 tracks, so it's better to leave them if i can't make them accurate enough..

Correct me if I am wrong, and ofcourse it's WIP, but isn't it SHELL UNLEADED instead of UNLOADED?

He he, so you can see all is made by scratch...Thanks for reporting, i will fix it.

Indeed good point Tero, a lot of time is spend by searching good pictures so anyone who have some good '89 pictures, please send them to me. (not just Brands but all other tracks as well).

J-C, great to see your progress on Mosport. I started to learn to make tracks about a year ago and started to make Mosport. I got as far as getting basic track configuration down, and ran into aproblem with pit lane, and with other interests and working, put everything on hold until I had more time to spend on learning how to make GP4 tracks. I used track data from GP4 to get track layout as I could not find any photos of track. Just check Mosport track site, has some photos that will help you get trees, etc in proper locations and if you have GP3 track you might be able to get some ides of locations of adverts and what they look like.

Richard J@ I added around 80 trees to the track objects.
I think now its well covered. I also inserted lots of crowds.
Also i added a few buildings to the pit area.

Gildoorf, everything ok!
You have many clues in development .... Fantastic!
Read on your blog that you and Prblanco were using new techniques for the development of tracks, probably used in Barcelona and Magny-Cours, or you get everything from scratch.
In this track you using these new techniques?

Gildoorf, tudo ok!!!
