hehe, I agree with Iceman, it's a little sad you didn't used HD settings for the track layout (and kerbs).
Even if in this particular case, HD would not be enough and some manual editing would be needed too.

Hasn't that curb always been like that in real life? (Also yes Paul it really is me 
) Also if you need a hand with any tracks then let me know what I need to do and I can have a go at updating them if you like.

Like the title of the thread says, it's only a high res update, building the entire track from zero is too time consuming.
Even without the HD settings the track looks very great.

Question, Ricardo Lampert did a 1.1 update of the original 2001 tracks, you took that as base with the pitstands and other stuff?
I know that this is the case with Melbourne.

yes, i used the 1.1 update as a base

I do think the quantas logos on start/finish straight need to be centred though as on pic below
