Speculated BHP for 2001/2002 F1 engines?

Hi all

I know that we will never really know what each F1 team engine's BHP is, but I know that there are some people with some kind of inside information. I have ones read, on the net, an article where the person wrote about each team's BHP in qualifying and race from the 2000 season. Does anyone have info on the 2001 or 2002 engines?

I know that these type of info gets published especially if it was of the year before, because the F1 teams don't care if it leaks out for they are already in a new season with stronger engines.

Can someone help? This would help when making a performance file for GP4.

You wont find the BHP's for the 2002 season. Do you think the manufacturers would disclose that info?

No, they won't disclose it, but people do talk.

Well, I also doubt whether some people know the 2002 engine's BHP, but I think the 2001 could be known for I think that those kind of info won't mean that much to the other teams.

I just want to know whether someone has come across an article where they might have discussed it, rumours or not.

If you watched the race at silverstone last weekend, james allen did mention the cosworth engine being around 835hp........and either the mclaren or williams having 865hp. Thats just speculastion though.....

This is what I want to hear.

Are there any other who wish to speculate?

I heard it from someone in the know that BMW may have a Saturday qualifying engine pushing 900bhp b4 the end of the season. Oh, and Renault tested their new spec engine at Valencia yesterday which apparently gives a few extra horses..
