5. will there be visor switch on off
6. is ground effect moddeled in pyhisics of the cars
7. horsepower and behaviour of the turbo (lag etc) is it moddeled? only renault was turbo engine, but will it behave as cosworths and ferrari or will it have its own specific behaviour?

Next up is the Tyrrell 009 driven by Pironi, Jarier, Lees and Daly.
There are different versions for each track more or less.
Thanks again to Jorge Paes for the great renders :)

I tested it. Graphics wise it is supeb. But physics is way off.

Those cars had ground effect, some of them even turbo engine, none of it is moddeed in the physics.

Ground effect doenst mean just increasing the downforece, the whole car feels different, it is more neutral, and suspension travels a lot, those cars should have more rigid suspension. But it can be done, I beleive it can be done, with quality feedback, you could writwe proper physisc model.

Anyone have the 1979 missing cars, like Merzario team?

Sorry for bumping the thread.

i guess the only way is convert missing cars from GPC 1979 mod [www.rfactorcentral.com]

I tried back this mod recently and i'll be nice if someone could be interested to recompile the old beta to the actual CSM standard.

My workthread with all RELEASED and WIP stuff

Some weeks ago I tried to recompile this mod to the actual CSM standard, using the Empty Mod from TomMk. I fail due to positions files issues. So, I got the mod from GP4Forever and is working better than the one from GP4DB.

casssp - What was the problem you found with making the positions files? Maybe I can help?

Yes TomMK, its due to the positions files, they are embedded in .bin files. The mod from GP4DB had some kind of issues here, like driver names, screen resolution and random crashes. So I decided to recompile. When I was finishing, I saw the positions were in .bin files. I tried a few things and at that moment I did not know what to do to work. After some days, I got the mod from GP4Forever and got not issues above. I played for a time and saw that was working fine. So, I hit Shift+Del on my project.

Also, I removed the tires and wheels from 1980 and put in 1979. Looks a lot better.
