Am upgrading for GP4 ,thinking of getting a trinitron monitor but have been told they have lines across them are these visible whilst gaming?

You won't notice them at all. Only in still pictures if the colour is at the right place, trust me, my friend has a Viewsonic with those lines and you see them about .05% of the time.

I've got a 19" Nokia monitor with these two lines and I never think about them. I can see them if the background color is uniform and I look for them, but otherwise, nope...

Nope you won`t see them unless you look hard and only on white background, you certainly see them while playing games
