Please excuse my ignorance, but some of the message threads mention FSAA. Can someone tell what this stands for and what it does?

Full Scene Anti-Aliasing.

It makes things look nicer and smoother but it takes up a lot of processor power to do it!

That's correct Neil. On my computer, there is absolutely no difference in performance. 36 FPS with or without 4xS FSAA on the GF4-TI4600.

I thought it was that until I typed in FSAA into a google search box. And the first link I went to told me that it was scene. But you're probably right.

Its not in the game no. You have to enable it from the NVidia control panel.

Right click your desktop and click properties. They goto settings and advanced and find the GeForce tab. Click additional properties and it will be one of those tabs. Choose the option that makes games use FSAA and select your correct setting.

You can force it on just for GP4 by editing the f1graphics.cfg
