Yep, in real life those white lines behave as a hard less/no grip surface, that's why i also chose for hard surface for side lines as behaviour. :)

Maybe, but in GP4 this surface is quite bumpy...so I would rather recommend to use tarmac than hard behaviour.

Laurent, just lovely!

By the way, have you understood 3d basic stuff?

Best regards!

More or less...
I understood about pitbuildings and grandstand but not that really about S/F bridge or brake markers but maybe did I not think about the same objects as you.
Can you show me an example of actually existing objects ?

Niiiiiiiiice pics last page, Laurent :)

By the way: I noticed a couple issues with Fence Builder. First, it doesn't create fences correctly when used at sectors with have Fence Gate on. Second, 16 feet constant mapping has no effect.

@Prblanco : I just made some new tests and new fences are respecting gates so far for me.
And 16 feet constant mapping works fine too (left fence has default setting and right one has 16 feet mapping):

About Fence Builder:

About the fence gate: for example, if there is the pit entrance on the right side, Fence Builder doesn't create fences on both sides. It should create correcly on the left side which is not affected.

About the 16 feet mapping: now I see, I had though it was supposed to work horizontal, not vertical :)

@Turbo_Lover : That's a new item when you convert track from dat (and of course you need to create a cc-line to be able to get the ccline object).

@PrBlanco : You were right about fence gates so I just fixed it. Thanks for the report.

I have a nice feature request for you laurent.
Something i ran into during the tutorial.. it takes a lot of time to scale your trackmap. and it's very(!) inaccurate. Could you make some sort of option to display a bar with a given length?

So for instance i have a picture which has a detail on it of which i know it has a length of 10 metres. Then i set up "the bar" to 10 metres and align the two. Now my track is 100% accurate scale. Much better then the current method (see my old tutorial for that method).

I don't find it difficult to scale a track map, if you want a 10 metre bar just start a .dat from scratch with 4 straight sectors, and displace the last one until GP4Builder says the length of your track is 10 metres.

But I guess this feature would save some time.
