But first there is some help needed:
I have received all permissions, except two. Unfortunately there is no PM reply by Davide 'drt01' (last entry in this forum in May 2008) and Erwin Maliepaard (last entry in this forum in June 2007!)
Maybe somebody knows an alternativ possibility to reach them.

Before I take a longer break from Gp4, I like to make available this added work for all.
I started with this at the same time as my Monaco-work. Just to get an impression of the new pit area and the narrow pit entrance of Spa, this wonderful racing track.

This work is not finished (except new pit area). So some things are not perfect. There are still some things to do.

Finished:
Completely new pit area, including the new pit building (the proportions are not exactly the same than the real building, because there are some limitations by the box-layout of Gp4), new pit entrance and new pit exit.
Widening of the start/finish-straight.
'Atmospheric' modifications in textures and colours: trees, shadows, horizon, sky.
'Haze' effects (like my Monaco-work).
Only partially finished:
New placement of the La Source wall/rail.
New red stand (only a fast version and only similar).
Area new bus-stop - straight - La Source.
Improvements to make it more accurate, objects and textures (particulary track, verges, banks, rails, walls, fences, kerbs, old pit exit1, La Source-house ...).
Some Bug fixes (not all of them).
New .dat (minor improvements & new ccline) new .bin & .col files

There is already your work in this track. If you like, it would be fine to have your full 2008 update after September.

Maybe you will like to make this work again more accessible for all (like the Monaco track), this would be fine too. (I think some changes in the magic data would be also helpful)

My work is free to host it - if there is an acceptance by the other authors too.
But there should be in future also one permanent link to the track, free accessible for all!

It could be improved. But there is also a white line in/beside the kerbs. I used for this announcement older wip screens (because I have had no time to walk in again) - as you see there is also a marshal from the course who get lost in the pitlane - and the portrait of Raikkonen is on Massa's side ... as I wrote, there is a lot to do! But I have to stop now. After I have received all permissions, I will release this work as it is.
