System Resources

I have noticed that while playing games, especially jedi knight 2, that the amount of free system resources affects the frame rate. For exampl, it won't run properly at under 70% system resources. Obviously, to free up resources, u shut down programmes not needed. My problem is this, i can only get a maximum of 80% free resources on my mega pc, whilst downstairs on my shitty win95, p75 system i can get 93% free. Anyone know how i can free up more resources???

yeah, forget it, typing b 4 thinking, yet again, anyways, i got a programme called start up cop, and its great, my system resources r now at 92%.

You quite often find Windows tasks are taking up resources that you have to close down within a util in Windows. XP is the best at this. It seems to run half your hard disk in RAM.
