On the last version (a beta I think) of Monaco I have if you get too close to the rail just near the pits you would morph through it and wind up on pit lane.

Was that strange bug fixed in this release?

@ Ruboy

You simply have to change the pitlane sectors (only 0 - 1) make sure you change cc direction and cc pitch to 0 and presto. I have further detailed instructions if you want them, but that is pretty much it just PM if you want it.

I've got a problem with that track...
My GP4 crash when the loading of the track is finished...

I use TSM and CSM but like BigBrother said, the track works fine with...

@ exqo

There is a very simple fix which will allow you to use with TSM
Simply open TSM find Monaco 2008 (Manage Tracks) click on the Magic Data button and press SAVE.
Presto now TSM can run Monaco 2008.

@ Jagdpanzer

Yes teleporting to the pitlane does seem to be fixed, Lo2K found that bug a little while ago.

MONACO_2008_r2

This 2nd release corrects:
1. the colour of the tarmac. Now the track and the verges are more homogenous.
2. the yellow lines pit entrance and pit exit.

There is also a alternative .dat file in the 'alternative_dat_pitstopproblemfix' folder (modified according to the notice of Buzz Hornet/Maverick).
Just to give you the choice if you have a problem.

In both versions no pit-stop-problems occurred during the tests.

@SchueyFan :
Yellow lines are in the .dat and tarmac color is just a file changed in the monaco wad.
So you might keep your .gp4 (make a backup before anything).

@GP4free:
It's only small file which contains few numbers.. You can edit file with notepad. I only changed first number from 1 to 0.

(0 = pitexit left) Magny-cours, Montreal, Interlagos..
(1 = pitexit right) Monza..

Tried your new dl but the pitstop problem is not fixed (no changes made to the pitlane sectors)

@ Buzz Hornet

As I wrote, with both versions no pit-stop-problems occurred during the tests.
(But I have only changed the 'orientation' to 'zero' in the first pitlane sector of the alternativ .dat)
If the Problem occurs also with this alternativ .dat file for you, please improve it (the 2nd release with the yellow line fix) without changing the magic data. Maybe it will be helpful for many others too.

Thank you,

Hi GP4Free,

I had 2 bugs on your version of Monaco, when you go along(follow) the wall of pits, arrived in the rear the car goes suddenly into the pits.
And on the 2ns, during a rain race, there are some rain in the tunnel.

Otherwise, how remove the brilliant effect?

Cheers.
