GP4 is superb, that much we know. But how does it run on a slow system? Well (Spikeman, pay attention) listen up. I just got it working rather well on my

p2 mmx
matrox G200 8mb agp
98mb SDRAM

system. Having performed a brief mind-meld during the auto graphics calibration, I was suprised at its results. 16fps@800x600(x16)

This may seem measly compared to the latest gigahertian monsters, and considering Delta Force 2 wouldnt even work on this pc, its a great result.

OK, it aint pretty. I wont post screen shotsd out of sheer embarassment of its ugliness. But I get a PO in quickrace of 92-112%.

The game is a little odd on first playing it (as everyone has said) but that helmet cam is great. I was saddened to see that the pitmen's arms are just sausages, and that screenshot was not mid movement, but as I said to my cat at the time, if you don't like it, wash. (or look away for humans).

Gotta go to bed now....but this game is great. Not that I ever doubted it, of course.

I don't know about anyone else, but IMHO, while the helmet cam looks superb, I really hate it. I cannot play like it. TV cam all the way for me!
