Tracks don't work!!!

Hey,

I've donwload 3 tracks, BUT they don't work.
The tracks ar:
- Dubai Autodrome
- Piranema Winter Test Track
- Autodromo de Uqbar
Everytime I'm start-up GP4 as usual with GPxPatch. Then I'm at the main menu of GP4. Click at one of this tracks (for example Uqbar), select a car and than I'm click on "Drive" and strat than with the Friday Practice.
Than I get the loading screen, and when that "loading"-bar is almost 100%, the game stops, crash!
Can somebody help me???

When gpx_patch exits because of an error, it outputs a log file. Copy the contents of the log file and post it here. Set gpx-patch to run in debug mode, verbosity to medium.

did you do any renaming of files? Do you use TSM?

Not anymore. But the usual tracks like Spa (07), Silverstone, Monza, Sepang, they just do it. It's only happend by this 3 circuits...

The error log is unnamed, you will be prompted to save it before you exit gpx_patch.

First things first make sure you back up these new track you have so if you do anything wrong you do not have to download them again



Now pick a track from the original game that you want to replace, I usually choose the A1 ring as this is no longer used in F1

Ok now go to your new track and you have to extract the track wad, just right click and then extract it to directory

Now go into the samples folder in the extracted track folder and you will have two more folders

1.crowddata

2.reverbdata

Now the files in here must correspond to the track that your replacing

So in that case the files should be a1ring2001 if you are replacing the A1 ring

Now change the files in these two folders so instead of being another track to a1ring2001

Now you should get this in the reverbdata folder

= reverb_a1ring2001.bin Only change the track name part not the reverb part

Now look in the other folders and there will be other files you need to change the names off

However do not rename any texture files as this will screw up your track

I have the same error when i raced Willb silverstone. He put an addon package for Alternate Env Maps when i put those in the track worked perfect.
