new computer to run gp4 ?

@rav.dusty: I think the problem is due your graphic card. You are still having in that pc an AGP one which is much slower then a pci express one like you have in your main computer.

I have notice that when you have gp4 installed for a while that it automatic becomes slower in reaction and PO. To solve that i delete f1gstate file and configure it again when the game starts and then it runs smooth again, try it.

Well if you can't calibrate its probabely something todo with the resolution since you are using a big screen i think you will have to manual edit the graphic file and set there the resolution. I don't know what the max resolution is for gp4 but start with 1280*1024 and see if it works and then continue to higher it.

In main gp4 folder you have a file called f1graphic.cfg file, open it with notepad. That are the first 3 lines, set them to this and try it out !!!

1280 ; [RELEASE] Game 3D Horizontal Resolution
1024 ; [RELEASE] Game 3D Vertical Resolution

have been having the same base of the computer around for the last 7 years, with the repairs and upgrades but only the soundcard and the monitor survived

ps: and my backup is a compac armada that can't even play videos :P
oh and playing with that wheel
