Hi guys, I installed the 2006 mod yesterday, although when I start any race, the cars are loaded fine, but the tracks are virtually non existant. For example, at sakhir, I started the quickrace and the car ws half covered. The backgrounds were really off and it was impossible to play. So have I set it up wrong, and if so, can anyone help?

Thanks

I think I have had this problem, the tracks had parts missing as well as the cars but this was with the non CSM 2007 mod. To solve the problem I just reverted to my back up ;)

This was using CSM so I might have tripped something there I think, but no idea what

make sure that you installed the tracks correctly: the .dat into circuits and the .wad into the main directory. otherwise cars will drive everywhere but where they should.

i often simply forget that and it leads to funny results :P

make sure you have a the 2006 trackpack installed and should automatically selected in CSM, but can be easily changed if not.

@ fongu: do you mean having the track list as "mod defined" or "2006a/b" in csm?

either, but mod defined will automatically go for 2006a or b. Go into TSM and see if you have this profile set up

Right, now I have the tracks working properly, can anyone offer a reason as to why everything is 2001 style (tracs, names) except the cars? I'm using CSM and TSM so I would expect the right stuff to come up, but nope. So, what have I one this time?
