we indeed used old FR tyres, cause we don't have anyone to make us some good tyres atm

it's a bit hard to see on the screens, but the suspension of the shape isn't round but somewhat flatted like you say it should be

I think those suspension parts is more look a like an F1 part then
a F -renault part if you have a close look at that pic I put in.
Wide and flat. and the pushrod as well but even a bit thicker.

Well 12 hours later and a lot of swearing later, the Mercedes is finally done. This is the first car that I have painted to replicate a real life one.

f33lth3forc3, it's a nice first effort at the real thing but you should have another look at those lines, especially the blue one. It doesn't follow as "roundly" as it is in real life, especially at the nose and at the top on the roll bar.
