What i remember that i was looking at the thread and suddenly i see my name on it (i wasnt expecting to see it because i wasnt informed). And i decide to put a comment. After that comment Nickv (i never talked to this person before in my entire life, nor sent pm, nor responded any messages before) starts picking on me with no reason what so ever and continues bothering.
Whats more funny i wasnt even asked nor informed that my name was put for the races.

Well, even if it's not related to the w300 and WGP I'd still have no problem with this, it's not our decision to make if this happens or not (of course, if it is to be tied to w300 then yes), but in the end if the guy wants to run his own series then fine, I highly doubt that anyone in the w300 or WGP would abandon those, I could see some people from those series being interested in taking part here (someone who wants to own a team, for example) even if no perf files or anything is related to us

Some of you have clearly not read ALL of the thread. I have already outlined how it could work. And that is only if it goes ahead, and right now there are not enough users here to support another series.
I'm not going to allow a breakaway series to start up and then see it fail, as it will, and that has already happened in the GP3 forum because there is not enough users/interest.
To just start something up on the spur of the moment just because it seems like a good idea at the time without thinking about how, in reality is it going to be done, without having posted rules, formulas and without having the machine capabilities of posting results, decent screens or videos is unacceptable, and what about the expectations of about 33 participants?
If it is going to be done it has to be done right. The majority of interest right now is with the current series, so anything new has to fit with what is already working well and has a proven system/formulas/gains for teams and drivers.
Technically, we have already have four series running now, WGP + test and the W300 + test. A new series, could reduce that number to three. Personally I'd like to see the current system of testers split to a new series, it would reduce the workload for our already stressed race directors. At the moment there is some opposition to starting another series, mainly because there is no idea yet how it is going to be done. So no final decision is going to be made until the end of S3 when we'll all know where we are with the current field of test drivers. Meanwhile there's a lot of backroom detail and wheeling and dealing to be done. I already said, there's a good lead-in time to make it a success.

Hi there!

I want to join in, but only if it's working as mortal said. I'm following the W300 since months, now it's time to get in the ladder series. Anyway, you can count on me as a driver...

@ nhorry, it is still very early to apply for this series so if you want to be part of the W300 then maybe you could become a test driver there? Try posting in the W300 thread, I'm sure you'll be able to get a drive before the next race

We might as well let them say there interested because then we all get an idea of how many people want to join in with the series IF it was to go ahead.

That is a reason why I should set up this series, there are 4 in all technicality and so like Mal says mine will bring it down to 3.

are you really stupid? Or just being a big moron? i just asked why would you join this serie, wich will be a tester serie of the wgp/w300 most likely if you left the w300? whats the point?

Well this league will only have some kind of point, if it is going to be a feeder for W300 or WGP, as there probably won't be so many people, so that it could exist, but then again, there will be more problems and difficulties to connect these leagues. For now, I think there isn't such a big need for feeder league, so that it[need] would be bigger than the difficulties we would have, to set it up. If people want to join in this kind of event, they can do it at W300 or WGP, for example, I quite easily got race seat as a rookie for this season, there are available vacancies, you just need to communicate harder.

and you are getting top 10 finishes as well.
