Does anyone else think that teh traction control is very touchy or do i just have a lead foot? because when i watch old f1 when tc was banned they seemed to get the power on more easily than you do in gp4. it seems to get to get some good revs and then all of a sudden you get a massave dosage of power at once. cause in old f1 they sounds like they put 25% trhottle on then basically floor it but if you try that in gp4 you spin like a top. is there been a fix for it or can one be made or is it just i got a heavy foot.

that also depends on the mod/physics file. tbh i never tried original gp4 without tc but for example the 95 or 91 mod is great fun without tc. i sometimes have the impression that you can be faster without.

I'm always faster without tc :) but yeah it depends on the physics and setups so you will make car more stable to drive without tc

ive found its much faster with tc, just like in real life, and i play with logitech steering wheel. Ice McLaren you cant control traction control for AI.
I think totana_05 means throttle control, when you press the accelerator without out TC on, many pedals/wheels you just touch gently and it applies full throttle unrealistically and spins you out. thats why you have to setup the pedal sensativity in settings.
some of the older mods seem to be a lot easier to control without tc, thats because of the perf/phys files.

Anybody working on a 2008 physics file to take into account the tc ban?

Honestly, I couldn't play at GP4 properly without TC, it is veeeery difficult to drive without spin here and there

just increase the flywheel inertia ..

Thanks Lee i'll give it a try :) bloody uncontrollable at the moment looks more like Tokyo drift
than a Grand Prix with my driving :)

it's possible you will just need to learn how to drive without spinning :)

in the new champcar mod, i dont notice any difference with tc on or off, which is strange compared to standard gp4.

i tested driving without tc in tony´s 07 mod and after 15-20 laps i was able to do the same laptimes as with tc. in some corners you have big advantages because you can "steer" the car with the throttle pedal. most interesting was the fact that my starts were better compared to the cc-cars. with all electronic aids i always lost one place, without the aids i made gains.
so i want to encourage everyone to try that, it needs some time but it´s great fun.
setups don´t need a lot of tweaking but tyre wear gets a bigger influence btw.

I made a modify on new Mariano phisc 2008 on the value of flywheel inertia
like suggested by Lee and now the car is stable in acceleration also without traction control

@ rosberg91

Mate mind sending me to try, I have had mixed results. Thanks in advance.
