Helmets - How do I create one?

I want to start creating Formula One helmets, yet I have no idea where to begin.

Could somebody do a quick guide for me so that I know how to create helmets?

You have to get a paint program, like Paintshop Pro, GIMP; a template, you could find some in the old download section, and maybe Gpbuilder, to see what you have done. Then from .tga you have to batch to .tex, you can use TexEditor, TexResizer, or Slimtex.

The link works, but when I click on "Download Now" only the top part of the page loads up. Its OK for any other download, but not that one.

I've also released it at this site, check the topic some pages back and if it's not available anymore I can re-upload it
