Indeed a great render vx110. Get a new set of tyres and re-arrange the normals and it will be awesome.

Hey vx110 :)

Toyota render is nice. Which renderer you're using? Perhaps I can help you a bit to improve your renders. Also I would like to help you with small shape fixing but unfortunately I don't have much time atm.

So...didn't know what to do in 5 min, so did this lol ;)

Do you mean the light refelctions?
Do that what kaid said or place 'em more far away then they will be smaller
But you have to increase the multiplier then or just decrease the multiplier if you want to keep them in that position

I found this old render( something like 2 years old) which was done for one racing team. Painted by Dahie and rendered in Mental ray. :)

A friend of mine did that render in Brazil following my tutorial (that I'm proud of it), but the wheels are horrible... can someone explain me a little better how to get a nice tyre material? Tnx!

@ Raul, I don't remember well what exactly my settings are, but for tyres, just use a brazil advanced material. Then, assign the diffuse material, and reflection material (Falloff -> Fresnel)

Then, in the settings of the Advanced brazil material, enable glossiness and set it to somewhat.. of 60 maybe, can't remember.. Maybe this can help you, but I'm not sure.

Then try to use a different car material. What are you using now for your carmat?

Floris or Flo, if you have some scene in Brazil, will be good if you send it to me to see how you build the material... to know where to start... I can't remember Brazil m8! L0l
