Hi , i got one question:) how did you do this reflections at your first mclaren pic?
The rear wing is reflected^^ into the airbox(srry for my bad english) My renders aren't so nice reflected then yours. I always use VrayMTL and then i load my material into the diffuse slot and then i am selecting grey in the "reflection slot" and then on frensel reflections.
Sry for my bad english but i can't write better

@Spidey
wow this is a very good render! I wish, i could do this too

Don't know VRay, but maybe make the 'grey' of the reflection (like you say) white.. for more reflection.. If that doesn't increase reflection, I think maybe you should change Fresnel into perpendicular..

Hope that helps

White is too reflective, a middle grey should be good actually

You should be able to decrease that with the alpha, when, at the same time, using a bright color for the reflection slot (might be 50% white or more..)

@ Kaid

Well, don't know the exact answer to that question, but.. I think I can't be arsed anymore. I'm done with brazil, because I think it's far from realistic. I don't have the motivation to learn VRay, and I don't know what to render really. F1 cars are nice, but for really high quality renders, GP4 cars are to low poly I think. Also, I get to deal with the same 'problems' with those lower quality shapes over and over again, that's not motivating (For example bad Normals) And I don't have the modeling skills to change that.

Also, my creativity is far from good. I often really don't know how to get things nice and right, also that isn't helpful.. But, who knows.. maybe I'll get back at it again.

Did this ferrari render a week ago.. But trying to render after half a year isn't easy, and it was too much work for that specific day to improve what I did manage to render.

I just don't have the skills and the knowledge to put it all together at once, fast and easy, WITH result.. After a while, that gets to you, and you get demotivated..

Yep, the only thing which is annoying for me is that when you set blury reflections for the chrome rear wing and front wing red parts are also blury and the sidepod part...maybe it could work to fix the rear and front wing but on the sidepod that is impossible imo

It doesn't have to be that glossy Spidey.. just try to lower the glossiness (increase the value) and try again..

Well, a post like that should help! NOT..

I personally (that's not something I'm proud of though) can not be bothered much about other people wanted something rendered. I am busy enough and just want to render something when I want to.. That's the reason I didn't answer to your post..

PM would be a better way to ask people
