but that's where it's all about :O Otherwise, send the model to me, and I'll try to render it with Brazil.. Summer is coming, and I think so is some sparetime!

No problem Kaid, hehe.. you first, it's yours right? ;) Noo, I just don't want to see this shape stored on a harddrive waiting for a computercrash so in a year I'll hear: Ooh, I lost that car due to a crash.. I'm sorry ;);)

Well, good luck finishing and rendering it mate.. You certainly already did a great job!

Looking good. Maybe you can add some depth to the rim.

I'd run some studio scenes first, easier to get the materials set up "right". If you use the right HDR map / set it up perfectly for that kind of scene you have there; you'll get quite predictable results and save yourself a fair bit of trial and error

thx guys,

@duffer - there is depth, but because i have increased the contrast the inside of the rim turned black.

@zeppelin101 - yea, i am also working on a studio scene. But as you know it's pretty difficult to get a nice and realistic result. And working with vraylights slows down the proces, so it will take a while.

@cmarriott - Modelling with 3dsmax and rendering with Vray

Errm, wtf? If it wasn't for the tyres, I'd say that is a slightly photoshopped picture of the actual car!
