Jeetu's thread - 2008 liverys WIP - P5

after quite sometime I thought i'll paint a car and now that we have an indian team, it had to be Force India.

It for my own use but if people like it, i'll ask for permission and release it.

it almost done, have to fix some sponsors logos and give a final touch, so just thought i'll share it with the community.



feedback welcomed, am not sure i have got the color right, the shades differ in different pics i could find. if you have any pics or sponsors logos, please share.

On Ferrari 248F1 By oggo ! Not Spyker !

I think that is a Spyker shape mate, Oggo's Ferrari is much different especially at the front

That's the Ferrari 248F1 of Nic and Diego, check the rim covers, the sidepod chimeny and the rearwing... Also the mirrors are just placed more to the driver...

So it's just been changed from a 248-f1 to a half job spyker?

It is the ferrari... but it has been modified! is this released?

I´ve edited the post , Sorry, I didn´t noticed that the author in his first post about this work in the speedinlive forum said that the base was the 248F1. I thinked that was djvass´s Spyker.

And it have not been released yet , the author said that he didnt finished the car.

Yep it has! That's definitely my and Nicola's shape with some modifications! Look at the chimneys, the sidepods, the engine cover, the rear wings, the brakes! And if you look at the front edge of sidepods you can still see the bodylines of the mirrors!
I'd like to know something more about this car anyway...

some ingame screenshots.. there is no alpha hence its a bit shiny. i still need to work on the logos as they are not perfect and find a way to fix that alpha issue with my photoshop.

Excellent work! I am looking forward towards the release!

the mapping on the car is making placing some logos the way it actually is on the car difficult, so there are some differences when compared to the original car

here are some things that can be fixed

1)numbers should be below front nose
2)etihad should be facing the other side
3)Superfund should be in gold
4)Exact should be in gold (front wing endplates)
5)Medion should be in gold (rear wing endplates)
6)Navteq on sidepod next to Aldar
7)Logos on sidepod wings (Maxcredible and the other 'O' one)
8)Logos on nose wings (Kemppi etc)
9)The 'wheel' on the Indian flag on the sidepod (refer to the other version)
10)No medion.com on bargeboard
11)Etihad logo needs to be a bit bigger on rear wing

as i m using the old spyker as base i m unable to place logos exactly the place and size they should be due to mapping.

Thanks! SchueyFan for pointing out. if anyone has any new pics, please post. I have changed the colour of the logos and inserted the wheel

as i have said earlier, this is something i am doing for my own use, if someone needs it and i have to release it, i will take the required permission.
