How to solve this graphics thing...

I did know once, but forgotten how to solve it now. It happens after I install gp4 patch 9.6, the car textures just become...flat lol



Can't recall what line to change in the f1grahics.cfg file, help would be appreciated!

i think it's one of this lines

0 ; Texture quality : 0 => max 2 => half 4 => qtr 8 => eigth

1 ; Increase car texture quality (1 on, 0 off)

1 ; Enable AdvancedCarShader v2

3 ; Reflect effect (0 => none-very sharp reflections), 1 => mipmapfilter, 2 => overdraw(best), 3 => hardwareboxfilter, 4 => swmungefilter(2nd best-best for 16bit), 5 => jitter(GP3 stylee) v3

Why do you use the standard GP4 cars anyway? In the beginning, 5 years ago or something, I was impressed. But now with al those mods! They look horrible

I'd say that it is only a re-installation. I doubt Paul would be using out of the box cars. The clue is in the words 'after I install gp4 patch 9.6' Sounds like a fresh install to me mate. Over to you Paul to clarify
