New sounds

Hi mates. I am new with this mods for GP4, not new with the game it self. So I have menaged to install everything including 2006 season and tracks I want, but I cant install sounds at all. I was following every step, but still have default sounds. I think that I need to change something in gpxpatch dont I. Thanks for the help.

the sounds have to be put in gp4 main directory\samples folder :D

I have done that mate, and all I can hear is no change at all, only old onboard sounds. I menaged to change others , but onboard is the same

seems soundcard prob', i dunno exatcly but try in 2d sounds :D

I think if you turn off the GPX sound tab this may work - i did this a while back & cannot remember exactly but I know the GPX overrides the settings so if you have added your new files to the /samples folder then these will be the one the game uses
