problem with CSM

when i go to recover, a message keeps on popping up that says 9. does this mean anything?

um... i did. i downloaded the latest version of csm, got updates for it, and now it keeps on saying that my cars.wad is not the original wad. it asks me if i want to recover , i say yes, it goes to the recovery screen ( or whatever) and theres a message box that appears 2 times that says "9". I did what u told me to do in the first place, before i posted for help. what do i do

darn! The "start" button isnt available! what's going on!!! (i said yeah, yeah, yeah, ye-ha, yeah, yeah ,yeah, i said hey! whats going on!)

for the start button, you have to load TSM, then it will be enabled

Change the cars.wad, like it said in the error message.

@ erix = u mean switch to fastwads or recover? when i recover, the message log with the number 9 in it comes up. What does that 9 mean anyway?

When you install a mod use a clean Gp4. Else you will have problems of all sort.
The Gp4 has to be all original game.

a clean gp4? does that mean a clean gp4.exe or clean install?

Just a clean exe. You can get it from GP4db, or maybe CSM will even let you download one

fixed it. all i had to do was download and instal the clean cars.wad using the patch downloader. thx for the help everyone!
