how to change a driver's name?

I just bought the game, updated it with the latest patch, replaced the .exe with the NOCD .exe, downloaded all the essential tools and I've successfully installed the 2006 Mod. My question is - say I want to edit Juan Pablo's name and change it with my name, how will I be able to do that?

Any sort of step-by-step guide?

you need to open the Perf files

Use CSM's custom user profile feature. Click on Extras, then Profiles. SEt it up, save it, and right click on the mod to enable it

You mean here - [i1.uploadem.com] ?

So basically, what I should do is:

* Click "Add New" to add a new profile.
* Type a profile name.
* Type the new driver name.
* Select a picture.
* Select a helmet texture.
* Pick a driver number.
* Click "Save."


...and that's it? It will be automatically saved and then loaded whenever I play the 2006 Mod?

I think thats it, but to make it work you need to go back to 'Load & restore mods' right click on the 2006 mod, and choose 'enable profile' or something like that.
"Driver number" is the slot it will be in - so to replace MSchumacher use 1 etc

Thanks, b-tone! The option is called "Enable custom profile" when right-clicking on any of the listed mods.

I'm about 4-5 years late playing this GREAT game but I'm glad it's still alive and there are sooooooo many talented and helpful members making new mods!
