how do u activate mods?

i simply dont get how to activate gp4 mods when u recieve them. some very detailed intructions will help.

ok. got it but..... its a .cuh file. im trying to activate the 1979 mod and csm can't open it.

why? csm can open .cuh files. just doubleclick it. when for some reason that fails, open it from file->install carset or something like that.
what's the error message?
