Hi guys,
Ive just gotten back into GP4 and all its mods. I just installed this mod and am getting terrible framerates. 8fps is recommended when I calibrate. My computer specs are - P4 3.2Ghz, 1Gig Ram. Video Card is a Radeon 9200SE (128MB DDR I think). It seems to run ok when there are no cars around on 25fps but at the start of a race for example its extremely stuttery. I am wondering if my video card is good enough for the mod as Ive had it for a while. Any help with getting some better frame rates appreciated.

Also how can you get the HUD display to show. The one you see on TV with the RPM bar and also shows Kph and TC etc. I had a display like this ages ago with another mod when I was in Tcam view from memory.
Many Thanks

Just a naughty but quick bump for my question above and also to ask about if the physics are a problem too as most of the races have everyone pit/run out of fuel with 2 laps to go on full distance races.

So I updated my Honda from the testing one to the "Myearthdream.com" one, but it only works for Jenson Button and not for Rubens Barrichello. What did I do wrong? Can anyone help me?

OK, nice mod and all that, nice tracks, very driveable, but one very annoying thing.... free practise has other cars. WHY?!

And another thing... which person decided that using a 2005 3l V10 Mercedes engine for the generic 2006 2.4l V8 engines was a good idea? They sound totally different, no joke, and that engine sounds like it's taken from 2000 anyway, the tone of it. I compared it to a Spa onboard overtake from 2000, the resemblance is uncanny. ;-)

In the gpxpatch settings, you can choose how many cars will run in the free practise..write 1 and you'll be the only car on the track..

I may be wrong but it seems there is less slipstream effect in the 2007 than in the 2006 beta version. Seems easier to do high-speed corners behind another car...

Another thing, is it possible to change the onboard camera? It looks a bit deviated to the left, I would prefer to have it centered.

Anyway great work guys, the mod is really fantastic!

And another thing: I've followed exactly these steps to make the new Honda work:

Create a folder called 2007 in 'Data\Cars\Honda\Car'
Put any 2007 version carshapes in there (the .gp4 files)
Create a folder called 2007 in 'Data\Cars\Honda\Hi'
Put any 2007 version textures in there (the .tex files)

Open 'Data\Cars\Honda\2007.ini' in notepad and change it so it reads:
cardefault =2007
and
texdefault =2007

Still I wasn't able to put the Honda working, Button now appears with a white car and Barrichello with the McLaren.. :| Some advice in here guys?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to use this MOD with a Default Steering wheel, which I select in CSM. However, when I'm in the cockpit the actual LCD text is not in the correct place. Is there an easy way of moving it around? I've messed around with realtime GP4 tweaker but it has no settings for text movement.

Thanks

Paperstreetjack, fine.
What interesting coincidence.
This weekend was working in positions of helmets, wheels, tires and other things both the MOD 2006, but mainly the MOD 2007.
Once complete this work available to you.
