Grand Prix 4 Controls Changing

Hi guys!

I 've installed Geoff Grammond Grand Prix 4, and for some strange reason, i cannot change the keyboard controls. Is this a permanent problem or can it be fixed somehow?

In Grandprix4 folder and in gpxpdata folder open keys.ini file with notepad.

there i entered my choice as like this

Game_CamTrack=Z
Game_CamCockpit=X


Game_ControlSteerRight=RIGHT
Game_ControlSteerLeft=LEFT
Game_ControlBrake=DOWN
Game_ControlAccelerate=UP

with this choice i can play using up ,down ,right,left arrows keys on keyboard.

and rest are default.

before u do this make a copy of keys.ini file

I checked and there is no folder like that in my GP4 racing folder. Please help...

If you don't use GPxPatch, then it is natural that you don't have that folder.

In this case, from the Main Menu, go to Options > Controls > Advanced > Choose Control Method, pick a Not Used slot, pick Keyboard, click OK, go to Keyboard Setup > Change Drive Keys and type in the buttons, you want to use.

Beware, as far as I know you cannot choose the up/down/left/right arrow in this case, you can only do so if you install GPxPatch and do as sunil said.
