As far as I know, the early version of estoril is the modern layout(with the crap first turns, that ridiculous hairpin and the sanitised final corner and not the pre 1994 version.

How much different is the historic layout compared to the modern one? Could the beta be tweaked to reflect that circuit?

It would need quite a bit of reworking to get the older layout - one reason that put me off it, as the older one would suit quite a few mods.

The 1994 layout is dull, safety madness after the death of Senna.

The '72 layout is very nice.

I always rather liked the chicane that came in at 94

the reasonabley severe elevation change always struck me as being quite cool and different .. (also it doesnt look safe to me lol)

but then again i never saw a race on the previous circuit (until recently)

The chicane was way too slow and destroys the natural flow of the track.

I always liked the last turn, quick and where the barriers are standing only a few metres of the track.

1994 version is the best for the 1991 mod because it's not so realistic to drive with old cars on modern circuits.

just looking at the overall progress on the mod....everything is 100% complete except the tracks. Yet the tracks are going to be a seperate download....why not release everything now then :) :)
