grandprixgames.org and its members do not support modders that convert another's work, and then claim it as their own, not only do they do it poorly but without permission from the original owners of the property as well. Our members report the theft and illegal conversion of original works, and by doing so, they protect the quality of the work by the real modders out there.

Well they're continue to make the 2006 mod. As I read they're planing to do version 2. At the moment they have got V1.5 And at the left side of the page there is a table wich is made for support like sending money, etc.

They really don't get that you have to ask autors premissions to use their work. In my opinion converting is a peace of cake if we compare it to modeling and stuff like thet. I can understand that you would like to make it for GP4, but do it legaly...

And as i know CTDP crew is really responsive giving premissions. So mayby they would just need to ask it. It's a principle thing. I think if you don't ask premission you just don't respec the autors work and the time he has spend to do all his job...

well if it's leeched ..it can stay where it is.....

The thing is, we, the CTDP don't have any problem with our mods/tracks being converted, as long as the quality is top level (well in this case the quality is so bad )and as long as the guys of the conversion ask for permission. As Jolkins said it's a lack of respect to the original authors and that's not acceptable.
