now i can focus on saturday and sunday events yay

GPGSL WDC Season 4
World Grand Prix - Free Practice of SPA Franchorchamps

This time we are in Belgium, this circuit is off course well known because of the Eau-Rouge corner which will challenge drivers every time again. There is some slight rain but this should not effect the times too much, enjoy! ;-)

It's Jo Pellatt going out first, and as we can see the rain is going but it's almost nothing and everybody is out then on slicks off course!

Florian Gramsch climbing up Eau Rouge in his 2nd test session in the WGP

Jo Pellatt set her time... but only for a few seconds fastest as Toby Wheeler directly dives under it!

Dan Mills dives then amazingly 2.2 sec under Wheeler's time!

Gramsch did made a mistake...

He spun and goes half back on track almost hitted Raül Gullon

It was a really close call or both cars would have been wrecked!

Räul still put on the 2nd best time

Tom Pellatt also didn't let it hang

He is challenging the Viper K1 driver around in the busstop, he would 'only' overtook him on the straight after Eau Rouge

Wijns then going uphill for Thunder GP

Diego Alfaro is the new guy then, last 3 races we have seen some new testers join which is good

Eventually he ends the day in an excellent 9th place

Day Results

Join us tomorrow for the qualification on this long circuit in Belgium ;-)

Fourth is brilliant for me,

11th for Nick is also a solid result

bad practise for Rico Racing. the gap is to big here i think. With Zach in 6th im happy with the pace of Thunder GP.

Not too bad.
Top ten good for myself, and a solid result for the team, but I hope qualifying and the race brings more. :)

World Grand Prix - Qualification of SPA Franchorchamps

After the very slight rain in the FP yesterday it's totally cleared up here and we have a 90% chance on a dry race! At least qualifying looks to be dry so enjoy! ;-)

It's not the first time, so no surprise... Jo Pellatt going out as first

Prins didn't liked that too much as he's little bit stuck behind

But blows through on the straight to continue his way

He is then the first to set a time, and will of course be faster then Pellatt

And that's clear because Pellatt is down 2,7sec on Prins' time!!

Then after few cars it's Van Smirren who finally beats Prins' time here

He can't enjoy long as we can see De Boer snatching fastest by few thousands 7 seconds later

His teammate looks to be in traffic, it's Yermo in the Real Madrid Yermo car

Roberto sees him passing by in the busstop chicane

Noriega still blasts everyone away with 4 tenths!

The next run it are the Shadow Subaru's going out first with them 2

Nick slides in just before Maikel de Boer but still 3 tenths down on Noriega who can take championship here in SPA

Iván Cantero even going faster but still 31thousands down on Diego

But there is another one which fit in the hole, Guilherme Cramer puts his car down on 68thousands away from Diego

And there is the surprise!! Johny Ashby grabbing provisional pole!!

We've caught Houston on a mistake in the busstop!

Current Standings 1

Current Standings 2

Current Standings 3

Achilles leading in the 3rd run

Noriega will try to reclaim his pole as he was in traffic the first time

But he comes 9 tenths to short!

Viewing the replay... because he lost 1,6sec in the second sector!! (This is a shame for him as he was 6tenths under it in S1) ... we saw him locking up in Rivage, probarly he need to brake here to much what cost him the time

Also Cantero then blowing it... he wanted to fast and lost it

He rejoins, though he sees a Thunder GP passing by

Man on pole at this time is leading in the 4th and final run

Redmer Postma then just like his teammate behind a Rico Racing, which is on his turn teammate of Jo Pellatt, no lucky day for Scolari

In the busstop he is still behind!! He will come 3 seconds to short on Ashby's time here thanks to Castello

De Boer just missing the pole on one hundred of a second!!!

Finally then when driving the inlap Postma passes Castello, and he is clearly not happy!!!

Day Results

Tomorrow the race will be here ;-) Be sure to watch it! :)
