No, there is no new version comming (I think). But I was just wondering something...

In the days Geoff was writing GP4 I remembered reading that he said he would go on untill GP7. (that was on his website at the time)

Anyone with an idea where that future goal is? What is Geoff doing thesedays? And when will there be another F1 game. (when are those Sony rights over??)

Nevermore, no version of the GPx, Sony will not leave.
For me, somebody was enough to obtain to make the GP4 to be online (with decent races) and already would be very good.

Excuse my english.

Getting the source code for both GP3 and GP4 would be absolute bliss.

well, maybe that will be the next major modding development... along with other coding things like more than 22 cars more tracks, in game carsets or something like that....

to a certain extend it's possible to do in game carsets.
it's a long term project i've been working on now and then, but al lot of things are working quite well, even things like track specific teamart. so when you select another track in game the teamart etc suddenly has changed, just like the cars, performance data etc.
but also be able to select a different mod which is track specific.
just don't expect it next week though :p

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy

Would prefer to see CSM 1.26 released first mate, but its through your efforts that GP4 has lasted as long as it has. You should be proud.

Too bad that Geoff & Co won't want to reveal the source code, if that was the case GP4 will be even better than the already great rFactor game.

The sales of GP4 will also be increased, for me it's a win-win situation.

My Grand Prix 4 Files
