Problem with "The 2006 Mod"

I seem to pull away from the cars :/. No matter what I try, the competition seems to fall way behind really quickly. Any way to make them a bit faster?

are you running on ace mode? if so then right click the mod and select the performance editor.
then slide up the race and/or qualify performances. do not alter the BHP as it will infect your car, too.
