I think this maassssive improovement can be reached by simple darking the alpha layers of a helmet

well dont just make a plain dark alpha,it needs to look like this to get the effect or it still looks too dull,because every colour still reflects the same..the colours of the alpha i think need to be edited seperately...

no offence its not rlly a breakthru lee.
Ross did it ages ago [early last year] with Friesacher helmet but helmet painters didnt follow what he did and have just been using plain alphas

I never said it was a breakthrough did i,i just prefer doing it because plain alphas look crap...
