i lose about 0.4 seconds on the last sector, the right hander into the stadium and the second to last right are the most difficult to get right. The track is superb, hope the bug fixing goes well

He Ruboy,

Thanks, you can use the 2005 dat, i haven't changed it so far;
i think pitexit, pitentrance 2, pitlane speed on 2 times; (need to change too), pitlanespeed off(need to change), splitsectors (need to change). So you can send me the values or the dat...

Thanks already,

Grtz

Will the positions of split times and pit speed limit on/off remain the same as for the 2005 version?

As far as losing time through technique goes, I definitely have difficulty taking turn one fast enough without running the risk of bouncing the car off the track on the inside kerb. So definitely losing the time there, as in the final sector. I feel sector three can be conquered with practice, however, while my whole approach to turn one must be wrong or something... I don't know! Maybe I'll try an aggressive higher downforce setup - it would make sense if I'm losing time on the twisty sectors.

Yes, the AI do seem quite fast. I've also noticed how grippy it is with 2005 physics, wierd.

But the track is amazing, great work!

I can run through the first corner full throttle with new tyres without any problems, but i lose some topspeed at the highspeed straight after the second corner, because of the higher downforce. But indeed it's also a matter of practice, as i never drove on this circuit before, except in GP2 (!).

I love this new track, but AI are insanely fast. I was running 1:13:5's in practice and could get no quicker than 11th on the grid! The quickest AI was running almost 1:11 flat!

Kimi had pole there in 2005 with a 1:14:320, so something is clearly waaaaay off in regard to AI performance....

I love this track a bit narrow in the final sector but it is the back straight i struggle. AI cars hit 215 in the speed trap but i can only manage 199 if i want a setup to cope witht he rest. Anyone found a good setup or is it the AI as hinted in above posts.

Has anyone had a problem when exiting the race on the track the game crashes?

The AI cars are using a mass damper, that's why they are a bit faster.

i was getting 217mph max. before the hairpin with default physics and 2005 horsepower levels, but i adjusted my setup and added more front and rear wing, and now get about 212mph just before the hairpin.

my best time was 1min 14.2 with Kimi.

and if you think Kimi did well in qualli and Alonso in the race to get the car back on track after going wide at that right-hander into the stadium, then watch MS here, he gets even more out of shape but saves it:

what a genius driver he is!

sorry, I haven't managed to get the JipMappings finished for today.
They should be ready tomorrow - by wednesday at the latest.

Ruboy I have tested with your new cc-line today again and I managed to get quite similar last sector with cc-cars only lost 0,078 seconds so almost nothing :) and I think that I can make new setups so I can be even faster than them :)

I had the problem as well. in gpxpatch, tick the box 'Start GPx in debug mode' and set Verbosity to Medium, that solved it for me!

Great track by the way!

I have also encountered a odd occurence while pulling into the pits during free practice. The mechanic walks to the front of the car as if to push it back into its stall, and simply freezes there. You can't get him to move no matter what you do, and since the engine cuts off once you park it you can't do anything yourself. The only option is to exit and start practice again.

Never had this problem in any other mod or track in GP4....
