lap times too fast

at some tracks, the lap times are too fast with the 2006 physics. They are worst at Monaco where I can lap in the mids 1m10s behind traffic (even with Super Aguris). at Imola i can lap in the 1m18s (with the old variante atla). is there a way of slowing the cars down?

Drive slower.

i try to drive slower and it still break the lap record by 2 seconds.

Use the Search-button for following aspects which determine lap times:

- performance file
- magic data: track grip

Yeah, use another performance file. There are some good ones around if you do a search.

but with hand brake :D

the magic file said that the grip value was maximum and monaco is a low grip track. i changed the value and it fixed the problem.
