Calling all Keyboard users :P

i just started my first 2006 season, drivin as fisi at ace level. i won in melborne with alonso n schumi right behind me. I had a suspenison problem in malaysia quali, started dead last but finished 4th! so far its lookin good, i'm 3rd in the championship one point behind schumi

Im gonna soon start a championship, half race distance... or 20 laps, which ever :P

I did a lot of championship seasons (always full distance) in gp2 and 3 (in gp2 i did win it once in 2001 season and 4th in 2002 with raikkonen, in gp3 i always was beaten by hakkinen (i was coulthard) in both 1998 season and 2000 season), and in the 1998 season, indeed Suzuka did kill my season. In gp2 i always broke down in Japan because of transmission problems or overheating (always setting the gears to "high". In gp4, i drive every race with another car, so i just skip suzuka, because there is nothing there for me, especially not with that chicane bug.

Keyboard Sucks! i keep going wide at the last haripin in sepang and keepending up 10th or something!

Then you're doing something wrong, I guess :P
I can take that hairpin without any problems.

i set my new best lap record in sepang friday practice, i use my own 2006 physics and cc setup and with that i was able to set a lap of 1.33.992 and a race best lap of 1.35.443. alonso was blindingly fast in sepang. he set the fastest race lap of 1.34.287!!

I slam the brakes on as I go under the sign over head. then turn the cart into the corner. tap the accelarator as you go through.

Monza i struggle at because I time it wrong.

Conclusion: everyone has their little problems on several tracks with keyboard
Monza i drive without any problems, i am only not too fast though

I dunno how you can cope with a keyboard on racing sims, I tried it once, shuddered, used a joystick then bought a wheel

Keyboardplayers just have more evolved brains. I am now trying to steer and shift gears with keyboard. (I already can in NFS)

I've never had a wheel, I've always used a keyboard. When you use it for that long you find (as I'm sure the other keyboard users do) that you gain a sensitivity to the keys and the way the slightest touch affects the car in-game.

I'm not saying that a keyboard could be as quick as a wheel, because obviously I've never tried both. But certainly, an "experienced" key board user will get a lot closer to the pace than a wheel user believes is possible with a keyboard, um, if you follow

2k4 physics? magic_datas? no. it's a 2k5 physics especially developed for keyboard users.
This physics is 100% based in 2005 Formula One Tecnical/Sporting Regulations by FIA.

I'm using the 2004 physics and magic data, which were also developed for keyboard :P Nicola Acciari has created I think, the best handling set of physics for GP4 to date when used with the magic data, the car is just grippy enough, but also loose at the same time, feels great

it's a work of more than three years and I looked for to be most objective possible developing this physics with REAL DATA… this is THE DIFFERENCE of this physics for others.
