what do i need
i have zmodeler photoshop and all gp4tools
but now?
with zmodeler i have probs
i hope you can give me tipps
i read diffrent tuts
but in zmodeler it dont will work

easy, make a carshape, map some textures on it, do shadings, highlights, bodylines, and that's it, you're done

no, you don't have to make the template, just get one, there are lots of templates available, and then use photoshop, paint shop pro, the gimp, or whatever to paint on it

and its very difficult to paint exact to this template
if you use one color (red) or so
you cant see the errors
if you want paint diffrent colors it gives probs

If you want to make a good "real" looking car, You must leave this areas just as they are....
This parts are made from carbon fiber, so, the best color matchup of this zones must be a dark grey or any carbon fiber looklike texture...

Anyway, if you want to change them, the problem is not in the texture... it´s on the mapping of this parts (more difficult task to make). Look for some mapping tutorials and remap them as you want.
