I mean that one available in GP4italia. Is there any other mirrors for that 194 mb file than that slow external server? And why is it so big? Are those F1c cars much better than original ones?

i think it's because it's track specific.
there's also another one available by gp4italia which is much smaller.
i have it on my hd as a .cuh file and it's about 15 mb i think. maybe you should look a little bit further to see if you can find it if you don't want track specific

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy

Oh, it was the 1999 mod, not 2000. :)

Here's that big file: [www.gp4italia.org]

Guys a little question on the 1999 mod. On some of the tracks the visors and pit stalls are in the wrong order and are mixed up. I've poked around the mod a bit trying to find the visors ( I assume the are track specific for each track wad?) but so far no luck. It's a small problem, but I would like to straighten it out. Any ideas?

But if I could just get some decent peformances into this mod, I would be a lot happier.....

I'm not sure about your problem - I've not noticed it to be honest. I did have a problem where a few people's helmets were wrong, or their visor had disappeared. I just deleted the mod and reinstalled.

As for the Performance files, I've been editing the ones that came with the mod and they're a lot better. I've slowed them down so they went the same speed as they did in the real life Grand Prix and Qualifying, plus I've adjusted the horsepower ratings to more realistic levels. Seeing as it's not totally my own work, I'm not sure if it's something I can release. Plus I've only made them for Australia to Spain so far.

PTRACER, I would like to try your perfs out if you get them done for all the tracks. I've felt all along that the 99 mod could have been one of the best were it not for the crappy performance files that came with this mod.

PM me and I'll give you my email if you feel like sharing the perf files....
