I'm on another GP4 Board too and someone found with Norton
in 7 Tracks the Trojan.Dropper:

- italy2005.exe
- belgium2005.exe
- japan2005.exe
- malaysia2006.exe
- sanmarino2005.exe
- brazil2005.exe
- usa2005.exe

Looks like Ricardo Lamperts Hard Disk or his website is infected.

Stranger this fact happen after 15 days of the Sepang 2006's launching and many time after 2005 tracks. My hard disk is scanned with frequency and I don't believe that Driving Italy was infected !?
Times ago happened the same with my files, or either, accusing to virus and
mysteriously times later all antivirus had stopped to accuse virus without I not change nothing in the files. Perhaps now it is occurring the same I guess.

Ricardo, it seems like someone hacked into your web site and placed the trojan on your web site. I'd contact your web host and get it sorted out.

Did the 'virus' actually spread on your pc or was your virusscanner only identifying various flags which triggers the Trojan.Dropper alert? You know normal trojans DO spread when activated...
So it might be like ricardo said, because of some virus definition update which sets the flags found in the rar files are similar as the flags for the Trojan.Dropper. This doesn't mean it is the virus, it just could be the...
So with a new update (containing more specific virus definition) it could dissapear again.

Could be this the reason that "Foetus" is crashing my GP4?

@Raderick: I don't believe that. All my files keep with the original date.

@erwin_78: That's it mate !

@Auradrummer: I don't think so.

Come on guys ! This alert appear only for who have the Norton Antivirus. I checked all of my files with AVG Antivirus and nothing was found. I have sure that next update of Norton Antivirus this alert will desapear exactly as did times ago. Don't worry guys there are'nt any virus in my files. ;-)

Thanks Clownloachlover but keep visiting my website at Driving Italia. ;-)

I have changed Sepang 2006 v1.1 to .rar file without .exe to extract the wad file instead .zip file. My next tracks updates like Melbourne 2006 will come that.

I think it is becasue Norton Antivirus sometimes thinks .exe files are infected when they aren't. I'm sure there is something about it in the off-topic forum.
