I've downloaded the above pit crew and garage. It's only for Melbourne though. Can I install it for the other tracks if I just rename the files from melbourne.tex to anycircuit.tex? Or will that screw it up?

you just overwrite the tex file in the skins folder in the anim wad, you should only need to add it to 1 anim.wad.

the "melbourne" just refers to the version of pitcrew livery i think, and not that you can only use it for that 1 track.

The actual pit crew textures get copied into the anim.wad.

The pit box it's self gets copied into the melbourne.wad. So surely this means that the updated garage will only be used for Melbourne?

yes the garage will need to be copied into every track wad, but the pitcrew only needs to be put into the anim.wad once.

Sorry to keep sounding stupid but how do I get the pitbox to work for the other tracks then? Do I have to actually rename the melbourne.tex files to say imola.tex for example?

Or when I use Wadupdater to update the Melbourne.wad one can I just click update all tracks?

You have extract track.wad file and find right tex files, then rename new pitbox texture, example melborne2001_page_260.tex and then update track.wad.

This is only way to change pitbox textures atm.

i have download the full package from viper
this man has do a lot of work
in the download there is a list of every slot and tex file
for every track
so its easy to find the right texfile and you can rename
that easy for every track
so you must put the tex file in a folder and then renamed you can
update tha trackwad easy with wadupdater
